Many people in leadership positions are afraid to let their subordinates have ideas. They think that if they don’t generate all of the ideas they will be unnecessary. What they are missing is that their job is to provide vision and direction. So let the ideas fly, you still have the final say at the end of the day and when you implement that great idea everybody looks good.
